In 2020, Mark Walker enrolled in a Masters program at University of Massachusetts Amherst, studying jazz composition and arranging. Three days after graduating in May 2022, he got an unexpected call from Arturo Sandoval to join his band. Since then, the band has traveled to Europe, South America, the Caribbean, and all over the U.S.
